At last! Almost too good to be true! My web site seems to be functional again, after months of problems with hacking and security issues. Such a lot has happened in this period of time. Among the events was the launch of 'Through the Tunnel' - the anthology launched several weeks ago by the Hills Poets group that meets monthly at Crafers.

Both David and I have a number of poems in this book, and David was a reader at the very successful and well-attended launch at the Box Factory on April 26. A great night! I was pleased to have 'Even Grimmer Tales' given good coverage in the Sunday Mail feature article by Liz Walsh on the enduring power of fairy tales. Focus of the article was the new Forsyth book 'The Wild Girl' which examines the contribution of the Grimms' next door neighbour, Dortchen Wild, to the gathering of the Tales, but it also takes a long look at the reasons these tales have lasted for two hundred years, and the ways other authors - my book included - have put them into later contexts. I'm quietly - no! loudly! - rejoicing at having this web page on deck again ...
