Book launches are always such fun - and last night at Paperchain Bookshop in Manuka, Canberra, was no exception. Lovely to catch up with old friends from my own schooldays, as well as ex-students from my teaching life. But sure makes you aware of the passing of the years … !
Geoff Page introduced the book so well - gave me a few new insights into what I'd written - and it was a great responsive audience of mingled friends and strangers. It's a book I love talking about. Having thought about it for thirty years it's wonderful to see it in print.
